Transforming Bristol’s most exciting pop-up restaurant into a food delivery service.
Background
Durty Gurties Dining Room is a pop up restaurant with a silly name run by my family and I. Since the pandemic we’ve been forced to adapt to these challenging times and we’ve launched Durty Gurties At Home, a food delivery service which brings our infamous restaurant experience to your doorstep.
The raison d’être behind Durty Gurties as a whole is to create delicious modern British dishes using the most locally sourced food and drink we can find and to accommodate as many dietary requirements as possible, and allow customers to taste only.
We have put on four pop-up events since we started up in October 2015. We try to make each one more wild and wacky than the last. We’re also proud to say that we’ve won a couple of local awards, most notably Best Event 2016 – Foozie.

Staying agile and adapting to the pandemic.
Covid-19 has had a devastating effect on my parent’s event catering business Pudsey Catering. So we decided to adjust and launch ‘Durty Gurties At Home’ to bring our scandalously good restaurant experience to your doorstep (only if you live in Bristol).

Building a food delivery service
We built upon our existing brand adding an ordering system via wordpress. We continually improved and adapted the service due to results from customer feedback surveys during the first few weeks of running.
Getting the word out there
As we had already amassed a following via our social media and email channels from our previous events. I built a cohesive campaign to announce the return of Durty Gurties as food delivery service using animation, print design and email marketing.
